SSL VPN

What is it?

Unlike an IPSec VPN, a SSL VPN normally does not provide site-to-site connection and does not require the installation of specialized client software on the end user’s computer or mobile devices. SSL VPN works on layer 7 (OSI) and it’s used to give remote users access to web applications, client/server applications and internal network connections. Because SSL is a protocol that is embedded in most web applications, it became a VPN solution more compatible between applications, including mobile devices.

Our Solutions

BLOCKBIT UTM has the ability to access internal applications (Citrix, RDP, VNC, SSH, Web and SMS) quickly and securely with BLOCKBIT UTM SSL VPN. Through a Web portal, the administrator is able to manage user access control, group policy and schedules. The user-friendly interface provides easy access to maintaining the security and privacy of the VPN.
