SD-WAN

What is it?

SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) is an architecture approach that enables communication between long-distance networks. The technology is designed to manage different types of links (MPLS, 3G, 4G, ADSL, fiber etc.) and uses software to determine quality parameters to choose the most efficient way to connect multiple locations. Latest SD-WAN deployments are able to integrate security policies as a quality criterion for connections, thereby increasing the quality of network services and lowering link management costs.

Our solutions

BLOCKBIT UTM performs link balancing through routing policies that can be automated. SD-WAN feature creates performance parameters to define the quality of a connection and sets the best way to connect your business to any location – branch offices, datacenters, cloud etc. In addition, all security features (packet filters, IPS, ATP, content filters, encrypted tunnels etc.) are integrated into the solution to protect all connections. And all of this can be managed through a single interface, increasing network performance, link security and lowering the cost of connections.
