This new features enables remote deployment of devices and network infrastructure, essential during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blockbit, a global cybersecurity products company, announces Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), its new feature for self-provisioning configurations from Centralized Management. The system is one of the new features of Blockbit Platform version 2.0, which is the company’s digital security platform. As a differentiator, ZTP allows you to deploy the device and apply its settings remotely and automatically.

“We are pleased to present this new feature in our management and security platform, especially at a time when faster response from companies is required,” says Marcel Mathias, Blockbit’s R&D Director.

“Previously, the commissioning of a device and all access points had to be carried out in more than one step and often in person, with the participation of various technical professionals. Now everything is faster, simpler, and easier. And best of all: it can be done remotely, ensuring complete social distancing.

To configure the device, it is sufficient for an administrator to turn on and connect the device to the network for the feature to find the settings and distribute them instantly to other remote assets, automatically configuring the machine with as little contact as possible.

According to Mathias, Zero-Touch Provisioning represents an opportunity to reduce operating costs for companies that, for example, have branches or work centers in more than one location.

“It is a resource that will accelerate the support and development of facilities in remote areas. With this feature, a company with dozens of stores or units across the country – or even abroad, if applicable – will have reduced costs with the displacement of professionals and will be able to expedite responses in project execution,” he explains.

In addition to ZTP, the complete solution provides a number of performance improvements through its innovative architecture, with a redesigned interface and structure to further increase the manager capacity of your security devices.

Aligned with key end-user demands, feedback, and market trends, Blockbit Platform 2.0 features a redesigned dashboard with new options to make viewing and monitoring your network environment simpler and more accessible. In addition, another feature that has been improved is the centralized panel, which now offers programming and exporting detailed reports in multiple formats, such as HTML, PDF and CSV, and with different approaches, whether management or technical.

In doing so, organizations have concrete means to confirm that their network environment is secure. “Improving our offerings is an ongoing and indispensable task, even more so when it comes to software. Our solution allows us to expand the capacity to manage multiple devices, with greater agility, dynamism and security for the corporate network perimeter, all without compromising the end user’s budget,” says Mathias.

With more than 5,000 clients, Blockbit is one of the leading manufacturers of cybersecurity solutions, empowering businesses to protect themselves against a wide range of threats, vulnerabilities, and cyberattacks, whether internal or external, generic or specific.
